Hubby and I watched - and listened between the lines. Remarkable the difference between the way things are, and what people think they are, like the fact that there is progress in Iraq, and this is a long-term engagement against Islam. A lot of us seem to be more interested in an easy life today, than a safe one tomorrow, and prefer to just ignore reality. We were very thankful as we heard his commitment to oppose radical Islam reiterated, and offfered silent prayers that he has (mostly) graciously withstood the assault of the left all these years. A lesser man might have caved in to the pressures.
